Description
The Vortex Golden Eagle HD 15-60×52 is a 15-60×52 mm riflescope from Vortex. It is built for long-range target shooting and precision hunting.
Why choose the Vortex Golden Eagle HD 15-60×52
With 15-60×52 mm optics, this scope covers long-range target shooting and precision hunting. Because the reticle sits in the second focal plane, it stays bold and easy to see, even at low power. In addition, the long-range feature set helps you dial elevation with confidence. It is a sensible upgrade if you want clearer glass and more dependable adjustments.
Key features
- 15-60x variable magnification. You can scan wide at 15x and zoom to 60x for careful shot placement.

- Second focal plane reticle. It stays the same size and easy to see at every power setting.
- Parallax adjustment (20 to infinity) keeps the target and reticle sharp at different distances.
- MOA turret adjustments that match the reticle, so corrections are easy to dial.
- 55 MOA of elevation adjustment for long-range holds.
- 3.9 inches of eye relief, which helps protect your eye from recoil.
- Field of view: 6.3-1.7 ft/100 yds.

How to choose a riflescope
When you compare riflescopes, start with magnification. Lower power gives a wider view and faster target pick-up. Higher power helps at long range. Next, look at the objective lens. A bigger lens gathers more light, but it also adds weight and needs taller rings. Also check the focal plane. A first focal plane reticle keeps holdovers accurate at every power, while a second focal plane reticle stays the same size.
Finally, make sure the turrets and reticle use the same unit, either MOA or MRAD. That makes corrections quick and simple. Mount the scope in quality rings, set the eye relief before you tighten the screws, and then zero it at the distance you shoot most.
