Description
The Sightmark Presidio 3-18×50 LR2 is a 3-18×50 mm riflescope from Sightmark. Shooters choose it for hunting and target shooting at medium to long range.
Why choose the Sightmark Presidio 3-18×50 LR2
With 3-18×50 mm optics, this scope covers hunting and target shooting at medium to long range. Because the reticle sits in the first focal plane, your holdovers work at any zoom setting. In addition, the long-range feature set helps you dial elevation with confidence. It offers a solid set of features for the price.
Key features
- 3-18x variable magnification. You can scan wide at 3x and zoom to 18x for careful shot placement.
- 50 mm objective lens. The large lens gathers plenty of light for bright views at dawn and dusk.
- First focal plane reticle, so holdover marks stay accurate at every magnification.

How to choose a riflescope
When you compare riflescopes, start with magnification. Lower power gives a wider view and faster target pick-up. Higher power helps at long range. Next, look at the objective lens. A bigger lens gathers more light, but it also adds weight and needs taller rings. Also check the focal plane. A first focal plane reticle keeps holdovers accurate at every power, while a second focal plane reticle stays the same size.
Finally, make sure the turrets and reticle use the same unit, either MOA or MRAD. That makes corrections quick and simple. Mount the scope in quality rings, set the eye relief before you tighten the screws, and then zero it at the distance you shoot most.
