Burris RT-6 1-6x24mm Tactical Rifle Scope

Description

The Burris RT-6 1-6x24mm is a 1-6×24 mm riflescope from Burris. It is built for fast shooting at close range, from driven hunts to home-defence carbines.

Why choose the Burris RT-6 1-6x24mm

With 1-6×24 mm optics, this scope covers fast shooting at close range, from driven hunts to home-defence carbines. As a low-power variable optic, it works almost like a red dot at 1x and still gives you magnification for longer shots. It is a sensible upgrade if you want clearer glass and more dependable adjustments.

Key features

• 1-6x variable magnification. You can scan wide at 1x and zoom to 6x for careful shot placement.
• 24 mm objective lens. The compact lens keeps the optic light and low on the rifle.
• Ballistic 5X reticle for clear, precise aiming.
• Illuminated reticle for a clear aiming point in low light.

How to choose a riflescope

When you compare riflescopes, start with magnification. Lower power gives a wider view and faster target pick-up. Higher power helps at long range. Next, look at the objective lens. A bigger lens gathers more light, but it also adds weight and needs taller rings. Also check the focal plane. A first focal plane reticle keeps holdovers accurate at every power, while a second focal plane reticle stays the same size.

Finally, make sure the turrets and reticle use the same unit, either MOA or MRAD. That makes corrections quick and simple. Mount the scope in quality rings, set the eye relief before you tighten the screws, and then zero it at the distance you shoot most.
