Why choose the Athlon Argos HD 20-60×85
A spotting scope lets you study animals or targets in detail without walking closer. The 20-60x zoom gives you a wide view for finding a target and enough power to judge it. The 85 mm objective collects a lot of light, which keeps the image bright late in the day. Also, the straight body makes it quick to aim at a target.

How to choose a spotting scope
When you choose a spotting scope, think about where you will use it. A larger objective gives a brighter image and more detail, which helps at long range and in low light. However, a smaller scope is lighter to carry on a hunt. Next, decide between a straight or angled body. An angled body is comfortable on a tripod, while a straight body is quicker to aim.
A steady tripod makes a big difference at high magnification. Also, start at low power to find your target, then zoom in to study it. Keep the lens caps on when you are not using the scope, and clean the glass with a proper lens pen or cloth.
