The Holosun SCS-MOS (Solar Charging Sight) is a direct attachment optic specially designed to fit with full-size GLOCK™ MOS systems. This sight is designed to potentially operate indefinitely without requiring new batteries thanks to its SCS system. This sight is designed to attach directly to the slide without an adapter plate and uses Holosun’s innovative solar charging system featuring multi-directional light sensors which help to automatically adjust brightness in a range of situations and lighting conditions.

The SCS is designed to potentially operate indefinitely using an internal, rechargeable 20,000-hour battery. The sight also includes an intensity override function which locks the optic into a high brightness mode for 30 minutes and a low power indicator which warns of low battery days before charging is needed.

Solar Failsafe™

Solar Failsafe Technology is one of Holosun’s new innovations. It’s intention is to provide a backup power source when natural light is available in the event that your battery fails. In Auto Mode, the Solar Failsafe activates and the reticle’s brightness intensity is automatically adjusted based on the amount of light the solar cell receives.

Multiple Reticle System

The Multi-reticle System (MRS) is designed to allow you to determine the type of aiming point you want to use when the system is activated. The MRS lets you select a fast sight picture for shorter distances with a 65 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot (rifle optics) or a 32 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot (handgun optics). The large circle can help you obtain a sight picture faster, allows for a hold-over reference and helps to guide your eye to the 2 MOA dot.

For users wanting an uncluttered sight picture, the large ring can be deactivated leaving just the 2 MOA dot, which helps increase precision. Super LED

Holosun’s Super Green LED is designed to match the wavelength of light that the human eye is most reactive to. The SCS-MOS features this Super Green LED reticle for optimal all-purpose use. Users can also adjust the reticle’s brightness and intensity settings for night-vision or daytime use.

Multilayer Reflective Glass

The Holosun SCS-MOS is manufactured using optical-quality glass lenses with multilayer coatings applied to facilitate maximum light transmission and wear resistance. It also works to reduce glare and facilitate reduced power requirements versus the competition. Holosun’s highly reflective coatings produce industry-leading reticle intensity, clarity and battery efficiency.
